Smooth Launch of 5680DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker Constructed by Xinjiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry

In the golden autumn of October, with drizzling rain, Xinjiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry ushered in another joyous occasion — at 10:58 on the morning of October 16, the "Henghui 108" (5680DWT, Hull No. NJZ1117), a stainless steel chemical tanker built by the company for Zhejiang Henghui Shipping Co., Ltd., was launched at the outfitting wharf. Lu Zihui from the 9th Branch of Zhejiang Henghui Shipping Co., Ltd., Liu Yongfeng, Director of China Classification Society (CCS) Jiujiang Representative Office, Wu Qiuping, General Manager of Xinjiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, Rui Xiaosong, Chief Engineer, Zou Yandong, Deputy General Manager, Feng Tangxi, General Manager Assistant, as well as representatives of various supply chain partners gathered at the scene to jointly witness this important moment carrying the expectations of both parties.

The "Henghui 108" has an overall length of 110.38 meters, a molded width of 16.5 meters, a molded depth of 9.2 meters, a designed draft of 5.97 meters, and a designed speed of 12.8 knots. The ship completed the launching operation on October 15; after this launch ceremony, it will enter the subsequent outfitting improvement and commissioning phase, and will soon be officially delivered to the 9th Branch of Zhejiang Henghui Shipping Co., Ltd. for operation, providing strong support for its further expansion of the chemical transportation business layout and enhancement of market competitiveness.
