In terms of ship design, both vessels take "efficiency, environmental protection, and safety" as core goals, with precise optimizations tailored to the needs of different navigation areas. The 854-TEU inland container ship (LNG micro-pilot ignition) is an open-top container carrier navigating in inland Class A and B water areas. It is propelled by LNG engines (diesel micro-pilot ignition) and equipped with one set of diesel-driven side thruster at the bow. With a rated main engine power of 1470kw×2 and a rated speed of 800r/min, the ship can achieve a sea trial speed of ≥20KM/H when sailing in calm deep waters with wind force not exceeding Beaufort Scale 3 at the designed draft of 6.1m.

The other 476-TEU river-sea direct container ship (LNG micro-pilot ignition) is an open-top container carrier operating on a specific route from Yueyang, Hunan to Yangshan Port, Shanghai, covering navigation areas 1-1 and 1-2 of specific routes. Also propelled by LNG engines (diesel micro-pilot ignition), it has a rated main engine power of 1100kw×2 and a rated speed of 1000r/min. When sailing in calm deep waters with wind force not exceeding Beaufort Scale 3 at the designed draft of 5.25m, the ship’s sea trial speed reaches ≥11.5 knots.

As a professional enterprise deeply rooted in the regional shipping market for many years, Hunan Huahang’s decision to cooperate with Xinjiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry is a high recognition and full trust in Xinjiangzhou’s full-chain capabilities in LNG-powered ship design, construction technology, and quality control. This trust not only directly reflects Xinjiangzhou’s technical strength and market reputation but also lays a solid foundation for the company to further expand the new energy ship market and deepen cooperation with shipping enterprises. From individual orders to industry transformation, Xinjiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry is providing more high-quality, cost-effective green transportation equipment for the inland shipping market through the construction of each high-quality ship, helping China build a more efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable inland shipping system, and contributing "shipbuilding power" to regional economic coordinated development and the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
